With effect from 9 July 2012, the Danish North Sea Fund will receive 20% of the oil and gas produced by the DUC.
On 9 July 2012, the Danish North Sea Fund will gain ownership of 20% of the oil and gas produced by the DUC and, therefore, must deal with production of oil and gas, as well as sales as from this date.
In the coming years, the Danish North Sea Fund must, therefore, build an organisation which, in addition to technical skills, also includes a variety of commercial skills, with a view to obtaining the highest possible proceeds from a considerable oil and gas production.
High proceeds from the Danish state’s shares in the oil and gas production is one of the decisive factors for the financial outcome of state participation.
