DONG as state participant
DONG is state participant in licences granted from 1984 to 2004. DONG has pr. February 2010 a share in 14 licences in Denmark and acts as operator of 11 of them.
The North Sea Fund as state participant State participation in licences granted from June 2005 is being administered by the Danish North Sea Fund, which participates with a 20% ownership interest. The Danish North Sea Fund has pr. July 2009 also got partnership in licence 4/98 and has pr. July 2010 a share in 21 exploration licences. The goal of the Danish North Sea Fund is to ensure that the state gets as much revenue as possible from the Fund’s participation in oil and gas exploration. The Danish North Sea Fund is an active and competent cooperation partner, working to promote coherent and cost-effective exploration in Denmark.
